Meditation

Meditation is a habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. You can use it to increase awareness of yourself and your surroundings. Many people think of it as a way to reduce stress and develop concentration

breath work Anapanasati

Breathwork - anapanasati,  refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques.  Often performed to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork you intentionally change your breathing pattern. There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way. I also focus and centre the mind on breathing into each chakra. 

guided meditation practice

In guided meditation, the practice is shaped by another person’s voice. Because the mind has a tendency to wander where it will, many of us find it easier to focus and relax when our minds aren’t entirely left to their own devices. This form of meditation is often led by a (real live) guide in group settings.

Three popular forms of guided meditation are mindfulness, stress reduction and relaxation.

Transcendental Meditation

 

Transcendental Meditation is a technique for avoiding distracting thoughts and promoting a state of relaxed awareness. The late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi took TM from the ancient Vedic tradition of India. ... A mantra is a word, a phrase or sound from the Vedic tradition that is used to focus your concentration, these mantras don’t have to be anything in particular or you may want them to specific to you …….. such as 

“I am enough” 

“My mind is brilliant”

“I will have a good day, because its my choice”

“My body is a temple”

We would love you to come and join our friendly informal groups, on  a  Wednesday  evening.    Booking  is  made  on  the  monday  prior  -  there  are  only  7  spaces  available.    Booking  secures  your  space  and  payment.


We teach a collection of different types of meditation, From Guided, TM, Anapanasati, Sufism, Mantra.
