Breathwork - anapanasati, refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. Often performed to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork you intentionally change your breathing pattern. There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way. I also focus and centre the mind on breathing into each chakra.
In guided meditation, the practice is shaped by another person’s voice. Because the mind has a tendency to wander where it will, many of us find it easier to focus and relax when our minds aren’t entirely left to their own devices. This form of meditation is often led by a (real live) guide in group settings.
Three popular forms of guided meditation are mindfulness, stress reduction and relaxation.
Transcendental Meditation is a technique for avoiding distracting thoughts and promoting a state of relaxed awareness. The late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi took TM from the ancient Vedic tradition of India. ...
